Be aware that when wearing a corset, your torso will be more constricted than usual. Your breathing will be somewhat shallower as well. Avoid stenuous exercise while wearing a corset. There is a reason they had fainting couches in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. If a woman got too stressed out, the corset’s constricting force would cut off the oxygen! What buyers said about this costume:

5.0 out of 5 stars Great costume

Let’s face it…when Halloween rolls around us adults are usually stuck with those “cheapo” one-piece, one size fits most numbers on display at the large national party supply superstores.

I ordered this not really knowing what to expect, and was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and tried it on. I ordered the small and it fit like a glove. I normally fluctuate between a size 2-4 and I can tell you the sizing was very accurate. It said to hand wash but I threw it in on delicate and it came out beautifully. Dried it flat and it didn’t shrink or discolor whatsoever.

Finally, I can tell you that while this costume was available at Lover’s Lane for double what I paid for it, I got it from BuyCostumes for half the price. FYI, you can skip the hat (not included) and just add a simple black head scarf and it looks even more pirate-like!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quaility…. Leg Avenue Vixen Pirate Wench

I was very impressed and surprised at the quailty of this adorable costume especially for the money (under $40.00). The black part (corset) is made of strechy crushed velor, the rest of the outfit (the red Part) is made of cotton. The costume is all 1 piece with a zipper back. The top is off the shoulder with elastic. I ordered the XL, which I feel is just a tiny bit smaller than the size chart(fits like a 14) but the fabric gives and it looks fantastic on. I am very happy with this costume and would recommend Leg Avenue products.

Plus Size Corsets Video on

The world of lingerie for plus size women is exploding these days. In fact, thanks to the Internet there are more options available to you than ever before, both in styles, fabrics and colors. In this article, we’ll talk about a specific type of lingerie — plus sized corsets. I will review with you several different plus size corsets.

Tatiana Plus Size Corset 169 — this corset has a front zipper closure, and also a back that can be laced up, for tight cinching. In addition, there is an inner cincher band connected, which can help create a slimmer looking waistline. For the cups, they come with removable pads, and are underwired.

Made from satin, this prevents the give and stress that typical lingerie corsets have. Finally, there are adjustable, detachable shoulder straps and garters that come included with the Tatiana Plus Corsets. This particular style comes in both black and white, from a size as small as 36B up to 48DD.

Patent Leather Plus Corset — this plus corset has a beautiful pink leather color to it, and comes equipped with hook and eye front openings, a lace up back, a sexy plus g string and boning. Also, the sizes range from 1x to 3x. There are also additional options in the style of corsets, and at other available colors such as black with red laces and black with pink laces.

Patent Leather Plus Bridal Corset — made by Allure Leather, this plus corset comes with a veil, g string, and detachable garters. Lace is run up the front and back of this bridal corset, and comes in sizes 1x up to 3x.

When looking for plus sized corsets, look for something that will flatter your curves, and give them a beautiful and seductive shape. In addition to buying something that looks sexy, aim to find something that is also comfortable. If you’re purchasing online, look for some reviews of the different corsets that you’re interested in, to get a perspective on how comfortable they fit.

Corsets do not have to be worn just for intimate occasions. They can be worn every day under normal clothing, to help further define your figure. In fact, many women will wear them as outer garments in environments such as nightclubs.

In conclusion, I have given you some reviews of some of the more popular plus size corsets that can be purchased on the Internet.
